Music Enrichment
Cousins Like Us: A New Music Program and Partnership with Music by Heart
Music by Heart is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching Jewish education through the power of music. Their innovative programs bring communities together by blending traditional Jewish values with modern musical experiences, engaging students, educators, and families in meaningful and creative ways.
The Cousins Like Us program is a multimedia experience that combines music, storytelling, and interactive lessons to connect students with Jewish culture and Israel. The story follows two cousins, Shoshi from San Francisco and Yoav from Jerusalem, as they explore their cultural identities through music. In the classroom, students engage with music-based activities and lessons, while at home, families are invited to explore the program’s multimedia elements—songs, videos, and stories—designed to deepen connections to Jewish culture. This program makes learning fun and accessible for both children and families, fostering cultural understanding and strengthening Jewish identity.
