Legacy Circle: Planned Giving
About Legacy Circle
Creating a will or trust is one of the most important steps in planning for your future, and we encourage you to consider including Congregation Shir Hadash in your estate plan at a level that is appropriate for you and your family. Not only may this provide a tax benefit to you and to your heirs, but also will bring priceless benefit to our community. Are you ready to commit or share your legacy gift plans with us? Please complete the Legacy Circle Letter of Intent (PDF).
Our Ongoing Mission
Congregation Shir Hadash was formed and is funded by committed, visionary individuals - stakeholders in the long-term future of our community. One powerful way to invest in that future is to include Shir Hadash in your estate planning. Visionaries help us build our future with lasting gifts. You can join our Legacy Circle by leaving a legacy to Shir Hadash as a planned gift or bequest. Share your plans with the Legacy Circle Letter of Intent (PDF).
When you make a legacy gift you are doing a mitzvah that is both financial and emotional. You are standing up and saying that you believe in our Shir Hadash community and want to ensure its long-term viability and stability through a financial gift. Numerous options are available that include bequests made as part of a will; life income gifts via Charitable Remainder Trusts; creating a Charitable Gift Annuity; naming Shir Hadash as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy; or outright gifts of cash, appreciated property, or securities.
