Jewish and Greek Conceptions of Desire and Intimacy
This Shabbat we will figure out what in the Torah was prompting them, and mine their midrashic responses for ancient wisdom that might speak to the questions of our own age.
What Makes Us Human?
As the dawn of AI commences, we are beginning to re-explore some of the most basic philosophical questions: What makes us human? How are we different from the other forms of life on Earth? Is there something unique about human consciousness that cannot be replicated? This moment in the cycle of the Torah, Parshat Tazria, has traditionally been a place where Our Rabbis explored precisely these types of questions.
