We'll enjoy making art together in community in the Sukkah! Art supplies and project instruction will be provided. Shir Hadash staff (and local artist) Kristin Johnson will guide us in the creation of two different options of Sukkot-themed art with hands-on painting and collage-making. Youth will have a modified version of the adult art project, and kiddos will have a more young-kid-friendly separate art project option to play with and enjoy.

• Adult Art Project (everyone age 16 and older): We'll have two wonderful and meaningful options for the adult art project, one will involve a mixed-media painting which will then be combined with hot-glue applied leaves to create a special and meaningful Sukkot-themed collage. The other option will involve creating a painting with a Hamsa theme, with templates, paint, and guidance provided. We'll be using high-quality project materials.
• Youth Art Project (age 10 to 15): A creative art experience with mixed media - we'll do a gradient painting as a background and then attach items in a collage over the gradient painting. We'll be using high-quality project materials.
• Kiddo Art Project (age 6 to 9): Sensory painting activity using hands/fingers as well as brushes and sponges to make a thematic Sukkot project. Wear clothing that is okay to get some washable paint on it!
• Baby/Tot (age 5 and younger): Coloring pages with crayons.
