Hitkansut: A South Bay Ritual Gathering for Yom Hashoah V’Hagevurah

“With fewer and fewer Holocaust survivors in our midst to share their own stories, the responsibility to remember is becoming a collective endeavor...” This year’s ceremony will weave together literary texts, testimonies, prayer, music, and moments of silence. Designed for participants of all ages and based on a program of the Hartman Institute, it will be led by members from across our Silicon Valley Jewish community, including children, survivors and their descendants, and clergy.
