About Lilah
Lilah is a confident 7th grader at Yavneh Day School. Her favorite subject is English Language Arts, especially when she is able to write freely and express herself. In her spare time she loves dancing, especially jazz, tap, hip-hop, and ballet and is part of a 14-girl dance team that competes in Dance Competitions many times per year. Her favorite thing at Shir Hadash is the community - she was part of the Shir Hadash Preschool (SHECC) when she was 2 years old!
Lilah's Torah Portion, Ki Tisa, is a pivotol moment when Moses goes to God asking for the 10 commandments, and while he is gone the Israelites are impatient and make the golden calf, which angers Moses. From this we can learn about the need to be patient, stay grateful, and believe in God.
B'NAI MITZVAH
