We invite you to join us at this Shabbat service, all are welcome. The service will include a sermon from our clergy team and will also include a D'var Torah from Boaz Daniel Goldenthal, who will become a Bar Mitzvah during the service. About Boaz

Boaz Daniel Goldenthal is a creative and funny middle-school student. He loves playing video games with his friends. He also enjoys hanging out with his two sisters and watching TV. He enjoys taking the family dog on walks.  Boaz enjoys swimming, especially improving his swim time and getting faster. He studies Hebrew and likes listening to podcasts. For the past two years, Boaz has worked with kindergartners and fifth graders as a Madrich at Shir Hadash’s Sunday school Kulanu program. One of Boaz’s favorite comic books features X-Men celebrating Hanukkah in 1980.

Boaz’s Torah portion is Yitro, where the Israelites are in the Sinai desert, about to get the Ten Commandments, and Mose’s father-in-law, Yitro, has some creative advice.

B'NAI MITZVAH

A Bar/Bat/B'nai Mitzvah  is a meaningful and important occasion! Everyone is welcome to attend a B'nai Mitzvah service, which is a communal Shabbat service for all.
