Milestone Update

The Campaign 36 Team is proud and excited to be sharing this milestone update.

Proud of our vibrant, forward-thinking community.
 
Excited to be part of the team eliminating the mortgage we have had since the 1980s. We are three-plus years into this campaign to pay off the $1.8 million mortgage. At Erev Rosh Hashanah services, our President, Joy Spodick announced that the Campaign has been fully pledged: We have pledges in hand of $1.8 million dollars. This means, when these pledges are fulfilled, our work will be complete and our mortgage paid off.  When we receive the funds from pledges, we apply it to our mortgage. We anticipate outstanding pledges will be fulfilled within 2021.

How did this happen? We reached out to our congregation and more than 218 families said, “yes, count me in.”  Nearly thirty of these families made additional pledges in recent months as we neared completion of the campaign.  Without the generosity of this group of donors, we would not be announcing this milestone.
