About our family shabbaton weekend

Shir Hadash Family Camp will be on Friday, May 2, 2025 to Sunday, May 4, 2025. Enjoy Shabbat in the beauty of nature with s'mores, songs, and simcha (joy) as we deepen friendships and enjoy a weekend away for Shabbat together. We'll be staying in beautiful cabins, with two families per cabin. One of the activities during the weekend will include a rock climbing wall with three rock climbing routes and an adventure suspended bridge activity, guided by expert Camp Arroyo staff. Each cabin has heating and air conditioning, bunk beds, and its own bathroom. 

What's included in the per-person pricing for Shir Hadash Family Camp:

  • 2 nights of accommodations in a cabin (2 families per cabin).
  • 5 meals - this includes two dinners, two breakfasts, one lunch, as well as snacks.
  • Shabbat services in nature and fun activities including rock climbing and challenge rope bridge on the beautiful campground. Basketball courts, play fields, and hiking trails are also part of the camp features!
  • Fun immersive programming and learning.

Accessibility Pricing:

  • $120 per adult (age 12 and older), $60 per youth (age 5 to 11), age 4 and younger are free.

Full Cost Pricing (true cost per attendee):

  • $240 per adult (age 12 and older), $120 per youth (age 5 to 11), age 4 and younger are free

We care about accessibility, which is why we are offering an accessibility rate pricing option. If the cost at these levels is still a barrier, please reach out to rabbimichael@shirhadash.org to discuss scholarship options.

For families for whom cost is not a barrier, please choose the full cost pricing, and please consider a camp sponsorship donation below to help ensure that affording the special family camp experience is accessible to all our families! 
Each cabin will house 2 families paired together. You can make a request here for which family you would like to be paired with in your cabin. Whenever possible we will do our best to match families with who they request to be paired with.
