2 Years Old: Bumblebee Class
Our 2-year-olds enjoy learning through play with art, movement, nature, music, and more!
Children may enter the Shir Hadash Early Childhood Center 2-year-old class on their second birthday. This special age is a perfect time to foster an early love of learning and grow healthy social skills with our play-based, age-appropriate program. Schedules are available for a full day, 7 am to 6 pm, or a half day, 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. Parents may choose 3, 4 or 5 days a week for attendance.
Snacks are provided by the school in the morning at approximately 10:00 am and an additional snack is provided after nap. Parents send lunch each day. Children do not have to be toilet trained to begin preschool.
We follow a Reggio-inspired, play-based preschool program that honors the children’s interests and passions. Yes, two-year-olds have passions! Socialization is most important in our classrooms. Learning to get along with classmates and trusting teachers to care about you as much as your parents do is central to our mission.
