Our preschool, the Shir Hadash Early Childhood Center, is growing! Get ready to help us welcome toddlers as young as 18 months of age! This new program coming soon will give families the opportunity to enroll their young children in our nurturing community where they can play, explore and grow in a Jewish environment. We need your help to prepare our rooms for these new friends! Join us on one of the three upcoming volunteer days: July 3, and then on Sunday, July 7 and on Sunday, July 14. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Our summer sessions are off to a great start! Our kids enjoyed a bubble show put on by the Bubble Lady herself! We have also kick started our new Summer Specialty Camps where the kids are currently in their Science Camp. Take a look at the crystals they are growing!

Next week, the kids will explore different art mediums with Ms Angie in her Art Specialty Camp. In this camp, they will use water colors, acrylics, and even canvases. Art is an essential part of a child's development. Art can provide a positive space for an emotional outlet, help children build their creativity as well as critical thinking skills. Remember, it's about the process, not the product!
