About Reuben
Reuben is passionate about lifelong learning and a life of study, focusing on the Torah and the Talmud. His favorite Talmud scholar is Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz (may his memory be a blessing). In recent years Reuben has been studying with a group based in Palo Alto who meet and follow a program called Lehrhaus which originated in Berkeley, CA.
Reuben chose to complete an Anniversary Bar Mitzvah in honor of the tradition of doing one at the age of 70+13. Due to covid delays, the exact timing of Reuben's event does not fall precisely in the year of being age 70+13, but now he is able to hold this special event this year.
