A message from Tene Yerushalmi, after our postcards written by Shir Hadash teens in the JET program sending messages of support for peace and democracy were safely received in Israel:
Dear friends, Shalom.
My name is Yael Berman Domb, founder and CEO of Tene Yerushalmi NGO. On our first day of Hanukkah we had a surprising miracle (Nes Hanukkah): The Israeli post brought us about 10 postcards with heartwarming messages from you!!! The fact that the Israeli post is functioning is indeed a miracle yet finding all those postcards from Jaxon, Ali, Sara, Jake and their friends really made our day, thus we ran to the Internet and discovered a lovely community of people and values that we all share. A big smile spread across our faces. Could you say to each and every one of the postcard senders, a big thank you for this miracle?Thank you for thinking of us in such complex times. I am attaching brief information about our activity and about the new project that we started right now. If you are in Israel - we will be more than happy to host you with us at "Beit Tene" in Jerusalem. I wish you a happy Hanukkah holiday, full of light and peace.
