Ben Platt’s place on our Hanukkah hero list is music to our ears!

Ben Platt is an American actor, singer, and songwriter, best known for his roles in the Pitch Perfect films and for originating the title role for the musical Dear Evan Hansen.  He was heavily influenced by his experiences at Camp Ramah in California as a child and has been an avid supporter of the National Ramah Commission.   

Platt has spoken publicly about gun-violence prevention and has been involved in the March for Our Lives student-led demonstration following Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting.
