Family Services will be held on Rosh Hashanah & Yom Kippur at 3:30 pm at Shir Hadash.
If you have school aged children:
The Religious School Program, which parallels the morning service, will be at Shir Hadash on Rosh Hashanah but at Sacred Heart Church on Yom Kippur. Please RSVP.
If any issues come up for your children regarding missing school on Yom Kippur, contact Rabbi Aron or JCRC director, Diane Fisher at 357-7504.
If you have high school aged children:
There will be a parallel teen program at Sacred Heart Church on both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
If you’ve never been to High Holy Days before:
Consider coming to S’lichot on Saturday evening, September 4th, at 10 pm. This short, moving service introduces the High Holy themes in a simpler setting. A film and discussion program at 8 pm precedes the service.
Looking for a change of pace?
Join us at the Circle Group Area at Vasona Park for outdoor informal Shabbat Morning Services followed by Tashlich and a picnic lunch on Saturday, September 11th, beginning at 10:30 am.
The Holy Days don’t end with Yom Kippur.
Join us for Sukkot services and meals in the Sukkah, September 24th – 29th and then for one of the most fun services of the whole year — Simchat Torah, Wednesday, September 29th at 7:15 pm with the Joel Nelson Band.
Order extra prayerbooks and tickets from the Temple office. Security considerations require us to ask you to present your tickets to the ushers for each service.
