Reemployment

Through the Caring Committee, Congregation Shir Hadash offers support to members of the congregation who are unemployed, under-employed, or who are contemplating a job transition, including retirement or moving from the private sector to the non-profit sector. Members of the congregation who are professionals in the field of Human Relations have offered guidance in practical skills such as creating a resume and interviewing, and at times a group has met regularly at Temple, either weekly or monthly. Job leads have also been shared.

This fall Congregation Shir Hadash has linked its efforts to the Jewish Family Service’s Employment Network Group, which meets the first and third Tuesdays of every month, at 1:30 pm, at the Addison Penzac Jewish Community Center (14855 Oka Road, Los Gatos).
