Caring Committee Shabbat Service

Join us for a special Kabbalat Shabbat service, dinner, and program, when we will explore and embrace the theme of how to take care of ourselves and our planet through the food choices we make. We will have the opportunity to learn from each other and share our ideas during this lively and interactive event.
The evening will begin with a Nosh at 6:00 pm followed by a short and lively Kabbalat Shabbat service from 6:30-7:15 pm. Dinner will follow. We will be organized by tables, discussing different topics all related to our general theme.
Speaker: Margie Freedman, MS, PhD in Nutrition, Assistant Professor in the Nutrition and Food Science Department at SJSU.
