This course, which will focus on the basics of reading Hebrew, will be of particular interest to parents of children who are in Hebrew school or preparing for their Bar or Bat Mitzvah, and who want to keep up with their children. This course (or equivalent fluency) is required for those interested in the Adult B'nai Mitzvah program, which will be offered in 2010-11. Students will be qualified to move on to "Prayerbook Hebrew," which will be offered in winter, based on student interest.

Beginning Hebrew will also be offered on Tuesday afternoons beginning September 8, with Rabbi Kaplan.
