Get to Know Us

You are welcome to take some time to get to know us before joining. Shabbat services, Friday night and Saturday morning, are open to all community members.

Our staff and members will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the Congregation. Rabbi Aron and Rabbi Lobel are available to meet with you privately to answer your questions. Rabbi Levenberg, our Educational Director, would be glad to speak with you about religious school. The Membership Committee can answer any questions that you may have regarding membership.

Young Adult Membership

Join Us

Please download the Membership Application (PDF), fill it out completely, and mail it with your check for the first 3 months membership to Congregation Shir Hadash, 20 Cherry Blossom Lane, Los Gatos, CA 95032.

Please make sure all pages of the application are complete and you have included a check for your first 3 months membership. An incomplete application will be returned to you and will delay your membership. Our Dues and Fees Committee Chair will review your application. Upon acceptance of your application, you will receive a letter granting you all of the benefits of membership.

The information you provide about your interests will be used to identify your areas of interest and guide us to help integrate you into our community. We hope that all of our members will find ways to be actively involved.

Annual Commitment

The primary source of funding for Congregation Shir Hadash comes from the annual contribution of each of our member families. In order to distribute the responsibility for financial support among the members in an equitable manner, we use a Fair Share approach to annual dues.
